Autism, ADHD, AuDHD, and belonging

No Mask Required

Neurodivergent conversations about life, love, work, and finding your people.

A podcast for neurodivergent people who are tired of being told the goal is to mask better. This is about unmasking with care, building lives that fit, and finding people who do not require a performance.

A hand-drawn mask representing the choice to stop performing normal.

The show

A neurodivergent podcast about living past the mask.

No Mask Required centers autistic, ADHD, AuDHD, and otherwise neurodivergent voices in conversations that are honest, specific, and useful. The show looks at the pressure to appear easy, productive, social, flexible, and fine.

Instead of treating masking as a life skill to perfect, we ask better questions: What support would actually help? What does consent look like in relationships? What makes work humane? Where do our people find each other?

Conversations

What we make room for.

Unmasking without apology

Autistic masking, ADHD masking, burnout, shutdowns, sensory needs, scripts, recovery, and the fear of being seen.

Love with the lights on

Dating, partnership, friendship, boundaries, direct communication, rejection sensitivity, and chosen family.

Work that fits a nervous system

Careers, accommodations, executive function, creative work, disclosure, rest, and redefining productivity.

Finding your people

Community, late diagnosis, self-recognition, culture, language, joy, special interests, and belonging without translation.

The flip

The old advice says, "be easier to read." We are asking who gets to be real.

Not fixing. Supporting needs before they become crises.

Not performing. Letting communication be direct, quiet, intense, slow, playful, or precise.

Not alone. Building a world with people who understand the cost of pretending.

For listeners searching

Autism, ADHD, AuDHD, masking, unmasking, and belonging.

If you have searched for a neurodivergent podcast that talks about autistic adults, ADHD relationships, AuDHD identity, sensory overwhelm, workplace accommodations, or what it means to stop masking, you are in the right place.

The point is not to become a more convenient version of yourself. The point is to build enough safety, language, community, and practical support that the mask is no longer the price of being included.
